Welcome Elementary Student Support Specialist
Jaquetta Ross, new to Communities In Schools of Greenville, currently serves as the student support specialist for Welcome Elementary. Jaquetta leads with passion in all that she does, but is especially committed to recognizing and developing student potential. Having earned her Bachelor in Religion from Furman University and subsequent Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University, Jaquetta has established herself as a community servant and advocate for student success. Prior to coming to CIS, Jaquetta worked in both education and the non-profit sector as a Professor of College Skills and Community Development Manager, where she was recognized for her excellence in teaching, building community partnerships and ability to motivate and inspire others. She is excited to partner with the families and great staff at Welcome to help students realize that they are shining stars in a world with unlimited possibilities!
